Who Can Ride?

• Must be at least the required rental age
• Valid government-issued photo ID required
• All riders must wear a Coast Guard-approved life jacket
• Operators must follow all local boating laws

Boating Safety Requirements

Illinois law requires operators to have boating safety education.

Customers may provide:

• Illinois Boating Safety Certificate
• Approved out-of-state boating certificate
• Approved rental safety course completion

First-Time Riders

Only riding once? No problem.

• 2Save your completion certificate.
• 3Present proof during check-in.
